This year marks the Mt. Vernon Education Foundation’s 20th Anniversary. Since 2007, we’ve invested more than $2 MILLION in the students and educators of Mt. Vernon Community Schools — helping fund classrooms in every one of our buildings. And we’re doing it in one of the fastest-growing districts in Indiana, where the need — and the opportunity — has never been greater. 🎓
Now we’re looking for passionate community members to join our Board of Directors.
Our board members are the people who make that impact possible. They lend their time, talent, and leadership to advance creativity, innovation, and excellence across our schools — and help connect our community to the students who will shape its future.

We’re accepting applications for the 2026–27 fiscal year. The application includes our meeting schedule and everything board service involves, so you’ll know exactly what to expect.
