As the Mt. Vernon Education Foundation reaches out within the community, the corporate field has opportunities to help the schools. This page is dedicated for Mt. Vernon staff to provide additional possible funding resources for staff to pursue.
MVEF Mini-Grant Application
Mt. Vernon Education Foundation provides mini-grants from $100-$500 on an ongoing basis as funding is available for small classroom projects.
Forum Credit Union
FORUM Credit Union Foundation is dedicated to strengthening the communities we serve by enhancing youth educational opportunities. Educator grants and collegiate scholarships available to FORUM members embody the Credit Union’s cooperative spirit and improve the communities we serve through increased educational opportunities and experiences
Duke Energy
Duke Energy has a Foundation that offers grants, primarily in the focus of science, math and technology (stem-science, not ipads or flip-cameras). This grant opportunity would only be applicable for the Mt. Comfort Elementary, since it is the only Mt. Vernon School that uses Duke Energy as a vendor.
