The Youth of Achievement Award is presented to a student, male or female, who is currently in grades 9 to 12.  The student should be nominated based on her/his volunteer/community activities, not on academics or athletics.  The nominee should be a student who is truly making a difference through her/his involvement in the community, be it by serving an individual or multiple individuals.
