Where does my donation go?
Donations directly impact our grants, programming, initiatives and learning objectives for the students and staff of Mt. Vernon. Every single donation directly impacts Mt. Vernon students and staff. Every single student is positively affected by MVEF Grants throughout their educational journey. The MVEF is able to administer grants with only one employee and a volunteer board of directors.
The MVEF leverages donations to create a meaningful impact for the students and staff of Mt. Vernon. A fall and spring cycle of Teacher and Classroom Grants give staff ample opportunity to make their educational dreams a reality.
Are you a part of the school district?
The MVEF is a separate 501(c)(3) organization that works directly in tandem with the Mt. Vernon Community School Corporation and have collective goals that benefit Mt. Vernon students and staff.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes, MVEF is a 501(c)(3) and all donations are deductible as allowed by law.
