The Mt. Vernon Education Foundation is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Distinguished Alumni Award through January 15, 2025.
This prestigious award honors Mt. Vernon alumni whose deeds and character exemplify outstanding achievements in their life’s work and service to their communities. Recipients will be recognized at the Black & Gold Gala on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the elegant Indiana Roof Ballroom in Indianapolis.

The Distinguished Alumni Award honors the remarkable legacy of Mt. Vernon High School graduates who have achieved exceptional success in their personal and professional lives while making meaningful contributions to their communities. These honorees embody the values of integrity, leadership, and service, inspiring others through their actions and achievements. By celebrating their stories, we aim to encourage current and future students to pursue their own paths with purpose, resilience, and a commitment to making a difference
